Our Privacy Policy
We will keep this page updated to show you all the things we do with your personal data. This policy applies if you are a supporter of the Meadows Trust (member, donor, or volunteer), or use our online shop, visit our website, email, call, or write to us.
The Hollingbourne Meadows Trust Ltd holds a small amount of personal data. We use this data to comply with our charitable and legal duties. Only the Directors and Officers have access to personal data. We will never sell or share your data with anyone else. We may contact you from time to time to check the data we hold is up-to-date, accurate and appropriate.
Members: There is a need to keep members data while they remain a member. If a member leaves their data will be deleted. If no reply is received from a member to a request for up-to-date data, then their data will be destroyed after two years and membership will cease.
Members are requested to inform the company secretary of any changes to their contact details or if they wish to stop their membership and have their data deleted from the database. Please contact the Trust’s Secretary in writing or via our email address.
Tree Sponsors: There is a need to keep sponsors data so we can inform them if there is a problem with their Tree. If no reply is received from a sponsor to a request for up-to-date data, then their data accept for their name and plaque wording will be deleted after two years.
Sponsors are requested to inform the Trust of any changes to their contact details, or if they wish to have their contact data deleted from the database. Please contact the Trust’s Secretary in writing or via our email address.
Donors: No data is kept except that which is imbedded in the Accounts and for which we are required to keep by law.
Facebook, YouTube and Website Photos: Verbal consent was obtained at the time of the photograph.
